art to inspiration is a collaborative project organized to bring exposure to the art community around the world. supal from chevrons & ├ęclairs sends participants an image of an beautiful piece of artwork. we then take that image and let it inspire us to create something, whether it be a poem, an outfit, a meal, a craft or whatever! to sign up, visit this page.

needless to say i'm pretty gung-ho on this idea! usually it's the artists taking inspiration from the world in order to create artwork. but in this instance we take inspiration from what they create! this is what i'm always trying to tell people - art is amazing and inspiring and can feed the fire and creativity in us all!

this art to inspiration is inspired by the following artwork by jill ricci:

jill ricci. float. mixed media on canvas. 40x40 www.jillricci.com

I know this if off topic but I'm looking into starting my own weblog and was wondering what all is required to get setup? I'm assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny?
I'm not very web smart so I'm not 100% certain. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
