** as a side note for anyone trying this i did a little something different. my hair is so thick that instead of pulling through the whole ponytail halfway for the one side of the bow - i split the ponytail in half and pulled that through. then i twisted the hair tie to grab the other half and make a second loop. there was still a tail leftover for the middle of the bow.

This is the cutest thing I've ever seen. I wish I had the ability to do this to my hair. There is not a chance I could pull this off, haha. I love it though.
