the mail art challenge

the mail art challenge

there no better feeling then when you reach your hand deep into the crevices of your mailbox and you feel something. it's not thin, and it's not flat, and it's not smooth. you pull it out to reveal colour, handwriting and something else...it feels like love! it's clear that someone has taken the time to make this for you. they didn't just write your address, they wrote a little note, and maybe drew a flower or smiley. they used a pink envelope instead of a white one. they handpicked the postage stamps - instead of using the computer printout label. you have no idea what is inside but it doesn't matter!

you like that feeling right? you maybe wanna make someone feel this feeling as well? then i challenge you. i challenge you to create mail art! visit my etsy shop here and purchase the mail art challenge. when it arrives, you must create a piece of mail art using only these pieces, but also somehow incorporate all of these pieces. then, when your mail art is complete, email me a photograph at patience[at]isavirtue[dot]net and i'll post your picture with a link to your shop or blog on mail art mondays!
