tatiana owns an etsy shop called "la boom arts and crafts." she creates a variety of unique objects including pedestals, ornaments, frames, lightboxes and my personal favourite - shadowboxes! i have been fascinated by these ever since i created a creepy shadow box with dismembered barbie arms in a first year art history class. tatiana's boxes might not be quite that disturbing, but they have that perfect atmosphere of whimsy and strangeness that i adore. i'm imagining these boxes in a grouping on the wall or placed in each alcove of an ikea shelf like this.
